I had to make a “cover” for the video I’m working on. No problem, I have tons of awesome covers and images I can use. I got deep in the process when I realized: holy crap, they want tv format. Books covers are tall. Audiobook covers are square. Tv/movies, as displayed on devices, are wide. 6:9 or 4:3. None of my images work wide. It would be just Hank and no room for titles.
However, as I was plinking away on my video, I filed away in the back of my head that I could use this software to make infinite book covers. I have Hank in 3D. And Cliston. And Delovoa. And Garm. I can pose them any way I like. Give them guns and explosions and supernovas.
I whipped this up last night. It’s for my video. I think I kind of screwed up. I’m so used to books. TV covers are very, very spare.
They will pop the title and have some characters stick out. I made mine somewhat busy. Great for book readers. Not so great for people looking at a screen across the room.
But the cool part is, I can make book covers whenever. I still want to do a Garm book. I’ve just been really occupied doing the video.
