Art imitating Art

I’ve started doing some voice “acting” for my Hank 3D stuff. I was doing the voice of Gax. I recall hearing an interview with Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, American Dad, etc) where he said doing the voice of Stan was exhausting. I have a lousy voice and I’m a lousy actor. I had to do the lines for Gax and I split them into tiny chunks because I kept screwing up. After about 1 minute, I was really tired. Projecting and modifying your voice is hard work.

But what I found funny was that I had to say Gax’s full title. The title I created and Liam Owen has said countless times.

The Marquor of Lunacy, Gax, the Unfathomable and Disreputable.

Those are some hard words to say when you’re stretching your voice. Really hard. And I suddenly had a flashback to the movie Megamind. And you had actor Will Ferrel pretending to be Megamind pretending to be Marlon Brando’s Godfather. And he couldn’t do it either. And I suspect that was ad lib.
